Chernarus Nomads is a DayZ server built around one idea: vanilla-plus loot with player-run trading posts and no admin gear.

Events
Weekly events run at rotating times so every region gets a fair slot. Seasonal ladders reset on a published schedule, and the reward list is posted before each season starts.
Community
New players are welcome. There is a starter guide pinned in the Chernarus Nomads Discord, and mentors are available for anyone who wants a hand for their first few hours. Bug reports get triaged publicly so you can see what is being worked on.

Decent, some lag at peak
Progression feels fair without being trivial. No pay-to-win nonsense, which is rare. Population is healthy at both EU and NA hours.

Fun events every week
Performance is stable even during peak hours. Occasional lag spikes during large fights but nothing that ruins the session.

Best server I have played on
The grind is real but that is the point. If you want instant everything this is not for you. Uptime has been solid for me.
